BRI Launches Its First E-Banking Hybrid Lounge In Indonesia

Jakarta - Committed in providing premium services to both its existing customer and Indonesian people in general, BRI launched the first E-Banking Hybrid Lounge, which is considered as the first one in Indonesia on Friday, December 20th 2013 in Pacific Place Mall, Jakarta. The inauguration was attended by BRI's Director of Consumer, Toni Soetirto, invited guests and its customers.
BRI E-Banking Hybrid Lounge is the latest breakthrough established by BRI in the form of lounge which fully equipped with self service banking facilities, such as Hybrid machine, and e-channel services namely ATM, CDM, EDC as well as internet banking.
Hybrid machine itself is the machine that provides easiness for customers in opening saving accounts, which combines the latest technology of ATM, CDM, Kiosk and electronic form. This hybrid machine can accelerate the urban saving accounts (Britama) opening process in just 4 minutes by simply using the e-KTP (electronic identity card) as a source of information on customer data which has been connected and integrated to national demographic data base owned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Thus, BRI has become the first bank in Indonesia which implements e-KTP as a customer data resource with the cooperation with Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, BRI E-Banking Hybrid Lounge will also be equipped with the other services such as demand deposit and time deposit opening process, credit cards application and priority banking services.
